Roles and Responsibilities

Standard eGuarantee Process

First, the Applicant applies for an eGuarantee through a Participating Financial Institution. Second, the Financial Institution issues the eGuarantee through an Issuance Data Set on Customs eServices. Third, the Beneficiary verifies the Issuance Data Set. Fourth, if there is successful validation of the Data Set, the Beneficiary proceeds with the contract award, tender or license process. If verification issues are identified, the Beneficiary informs the Applicant on the follow-up actions to rectify the issue.

Step 2: Financial Institution issues the eGuarantee through an Issuance Data Set on Customs eServices.
Step 3: Beneficiary verifies the Issuance Data Set.

MOM Foreign Worker Bond eGuarantee Process

First, the Applicant applies for an eGuarantee through a Participating Financial Institution. Second, the Financial Institution issues the eGuarantee through an Issuance Data Set on Customs eServices. Third, the Beneficiary verifies the Issuance Data Set. Fourth, if there is successful validation of the Data Set, the Beneficiary proceeds with the contract award, tender or license process. If verification issues are identified, the Beneficiary informs the Applicant on the follow-up actions to rectify the issue. Fifth, the Financial Institution sends proof of purchase to the Applicant.
